To email a document: Open your Pages document, choose Share Send via Mail, and then choose Pages, Word, or PDF from the submenu. Pages: Creates a Pages version of your document. Word: A new mail message opens with the document version attached to it. Edit the email message and click Send.
Lock or unlock objects Lock: Choose Arrange Lock (from the Arrange menu at the top of your screen). Unlock: Choose Arrange Unlock.
Anchor an object to the page or to text Click the object to select it. In the Format sidebar, click the Arrange tab. Click one of the following buttons in the Object Placement section: Stay on Page: The object stays wherever you position it on the page; it doesnt move as you add text or other objects.

Either open that file you just created in Word or Pages, or open it in Text Edit, select all the text and copy it, move to the document you want to use and paste there.
