Select the cell or cells where you want to create the external reference. Type = (equal sign). Switch to the source workbook, and then click the worksheet that contains the cells that you want to link. Press F3, select the name that you want to link to and press Enter.
The process of displaying or using data that resides in another cell, perhaps even in another workbook, is known as data linking. Excel enables you to link the data in your worksheet with data in other sheets, other workbooks and even other applications.
In the Edit Links dialog box, in the Source list, click the link that you want to break. You can select individual workbooks with Ctrl+click, or all of them with Ctrl+A. Click Break Link.
In Excel: Select all cells that contain hyperlinks, or press Ctrl+A to select all cells. Right-click, and then click Remove Hyperlinks.
You can also right-click the cell or graphic and then select Edit Link on the shortcut menu, or you can press Ctrl+K. In the Edit Hyperlink dialog box, make the changes that you want.
Right-click on any of the highlighted cells to bring up the context menu. This menu provides a list of actions you can perform on the selected cells. Click Remove Link to delete all hyperlinks. This will instantly remove all hyperlinks from the selected cells and leave the text intact.
How to remove links in Excel Navigate to the Data tab in the top banner. Find the Queries Connections group. Click Edit Links. Find the link you want to remove from the Source list. To select multiple links, hold the Crtl button on your keyboard and click each link you want to remove. Choose Break Link.
#Binding in Code Create a new instance of the ExcelDataSource component. Use the ExcelDataSource. Depending on the data source type (Excel workbook or CSV file), create either a ExcelSourceOptions or CsvSourceOptions object. Set additional import options if required.
