hi everyone I want to do a quick demo on what to do if youamp;#39;re working with uh drawings that are xft in order to make sure that you get all of the drawings to go to um if youamp;#39;re sending them to somebody or youamp;#39;re posting it to the Dropbox for review um letamp;#39;s say youamp;#39;ve been working on a project and youamp;#39;re sending it out to the engineers you know thereamp;#39;s a couple of different ways you can go about doing it Iamp;#39;m going to show you two ways to do it the first way is the way I would do it if youamp;#39;re sending it out to the engineers where they are man culating the drawings and um they just need to have all the individual pieces so what you want to do is go to the um big red a here in the upper left hand corner and youamp;#39;re going to go to publish and what you want to look for is ET transmit and you can see it says create a package of drawing files and their dependencies so if I click on that okay let me save my drawing

Known causes include are listed below: XREF is unloaded, orphaned, or is otherwise missing. XREF is part of a circular reference. XREF is attached more than once. XREF has been edited in 3rd party software.
The Bind option is the traditional behavior when binding References. Insert mode detaches the Reference and inserts the referenced drawing as Block (as if you used the InsertBlock command).
Binding an xref to a drawing makes the xref a permanent part of the drawing and no longer an externally referenced file. You can bind the entire database of the xref drawing, including all its xref-dependent named objects (blocks, dimension styles, layers, linetypes, and text styles), by using the XREF Bind option.
