okay final step were going to be attaching the zipper and the long binding to the top of your bag now one thing i just want to caution you with is make sure where all of your zippers mine are to the left i want to make sure that then my big zipper wow sorry guys is also to the left i have done it before where i didnt pay attention and it was going this way and its just downright annoying so the first thing you need to do is find the middle of your zipper the middle of your bag and the binding i just do that very simply by basically lining up where the zipper starts i put a pin on either side and i do the same thing with my bag i take my two binding pieces and i just pull my bit bag out to the center just like that i dont know if you can see that i put a pin in it thats the center of my bag and then my binding so this is the front of the bag all my zippers are to the left and youre going to take your zipper with the tab the same direction as those and youre going to match it up

When you use Send to compressed (zipped) folder it seems that top level folders dont have any timestamp, though subfolders do. 7-Zip File Manager will extract and preserve all available timestamps.

1 Answer First, you want to assign the result of the command date +%b-%d-%y to the TESTDATE variable. Second, you are using command substitution where you shouldnt, what you want is: zipfile=${DEST}/${TESTDATE} ${d} ${BASENAME}.zip
Sub-folders retain the timestamp of the zip archive. However, if the folder is on the top level, it will lose the original timestamp and assume the timestamp of when its extracted.

In order to zip multiple files using the zip command, you can simply append all your filenames. Alternatively, you can use a wildcard if you are able to group your files by extension.
Script to append date stamp to file: #!/bin/sh. filename=testfiles. txt. currenttime=$(date +%Y.%m.%d-%H.%M.%S) echo Current Time : $currenttime newfileName=$filename.$currenttime. echo New FileName: $newfileName cp $filename $newfileName. echo You should see new file generated with timestamp on it..
