Method 1: Using Event Delegation (Recommended): Event delegation is a popular and efficient way to handle events on dynamically created elements. It involves attaching an event handler to a parent element that already exists in the DOM and then using conditional statements to target the dynamically created elements.
jQuery bind() Method Use the on() method instead. The bind() method attaches one or more event handlers for selected elements, and specifies a function to run when the event occurs.
$(selector). on(click) events are dynamically attached to DOM elements, which is helpful when you want to attach an event to DOM elements that are rendered on ajax request or something else (after the DOM is ready). It is important to note that $(selector). on(click) differs from $(selector).
When we want to bind any event to an element, normally we could directly bind to any event of each element using the on() method. Example 1: This example using jQuery on() method to add paragraph element dynamically.
Anatomy of a data binding To bind to a property, use the property name in attribute form (dash-case not camelCase), as described in Property name to attribute name mapping: To bind to an attribute instead, use the attribute name followed by $ :
on() method in jQuery to bind the event handler to the parent element. Specify the event type and the selector for the dynamically created elements as parameters. Write the event handler function Inside the event handler function, write the code to handle the desired event on the dynamically created elements.
Add New HTML Content append() - Inserts content at the end of the selected elements. prepend() - Inserts content at the beginning of the selected elements. after() - Inserts content after the selected elements. before() - Inserts content before the selected elements.
