hi itamp;#39;s Terry today Iamp;#39;d like to show you how to stitch binding to a curved edge letamp;#39;s get started as you can see Iamp;#39;ve prepared my binding I cut two and a half inch strips sew them together and pressed it in half to get the end ready Iamp;#39;ll fold it under at an angle and press and then Iamp;#39;m going to trim that edge down to a quarter inch so this is what Iamp;#39;ve got when I refold that and press you can see the Rajas are along here and you have a little teepee shape that means youamp;#39;ve got it facing in the right direction begin stitching right at the angled edge Iamp;#39;m using a quarter inch seam and Iamp;#39;ve got my raw edges even as youamp;#39;re stitching and you get to the curve try not to stretch this edge instead use your stiletto to push the fabric towards the presser foot this edge the folded edge should be rippled and your raw edge should be smooth I like to use the hold it precision stiletto because it has a rubber tip

Here we go. 1) Open out the ends of the binding. 2) Fold each end to form a 45 degree angle. 3) Crease the folds where they meet. 4) Open the two creased folds. 5) With right sides facing, match the fold lines to each other. 6) Stitch the fold lines, creating a diagonal seam. 7) Trim the seam allowances.

Step 1: Lay out your binding then sew it around the perimeter of your quilt. Step 2: Fold the ends together, leaving no space between them. Step 3: Use a pin to connect the two ends. Step 4: Pin the strips together and sew on the vertical crease. Step 5: Finish sewing the binding to the edge of the quilt.
If you are attaching the bias binding in the round, overlap the ends by about 1 on each end. Mark where the two pieces overlap and measure 1/2 seam allowance. Mark with tailors chalk and trim the excess. Sew the seam and trim the seam allowance in half.
