Select the data for which you want to create a chart. Click INSERT Recommended Charts. On the Recommended Charts tab, scroll through the list of charts that Excel recommends for your data, and click any chart to see how your data will look.
Right-click the chart, and then choose Select Data. The Select Data Source dialog box appears on the worksheet that contains the source data for the chart. Leaving the dialog box open, click in the worksheet, and then click and drag to select all the data you want to use for the chart, including the new data series.
Make a chart or graph On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Select the cells you want to include in your chart. Tap Insert. Chart. Optional: To choose a different chart, tap Type. Then, choose an option. Tap Done .
Select data for the chart. Select Insert Recommended Charts. Select a chart on the Recommended Charts tab, to preview the chart. Note: You can select the data you want in the chart and press ALT + F1 to create a chart immediately, but it might not be the best chart for the data.
To add a blank table, select the cells you want included in the table and click Insert Table. To format existing data as a table by using the default table style, do this: Select the cells containing the data. Click Home Table Format as Table.
Click anywhere in the chart. Under Chart Tools, on the Design tab, in the Location group, click Move Chart. Do one of the following: To move the chart to a new worksheet, click New sheet, and then in the New sheet box, type a name for the worksheet.
Click the chart, and then click the Chart Design tab. Click Add Chart Element and select Data Labels, and then select a location for the data label option. Note: The options will differ depending on your chart type. If you want to show your data label inside a text bubble shape, click Data Callout.
