In this video, weamp;#39;ll look at how to add annotations to our WPF Charts. Annotations work great for showing additional information in your chart. I already have a WPF project open with our Chart Control added. Iamp;#39;ll add an annotation and dock it to a series point. Select the chart control and in the Properties window expand the Elements group. Click the Annotations ellipsis button. This opens the Annotation Collection editor. Currently the Annotations collection is empty, Iamp;#39;ll add a new annotation to the collection. Next we need to anchor it to an element of the chart. In this video Iamp;#39;ll attach it to a series point. Select the AnchorPoint property and click New. Select SeriesPointAnchorPoint and click OK. Now we need to bind the annotation to the required series point. Select the SeriesPoint property and choose Create Data Binding in the menu. Set the binding type to ElementName.
