Log into your domains hosting Control Panel (typically the registrar of your domain). Locate and select the DNS Zone Manager for your desired domain. Select the option to create a new TXT Record. In the Host Name or Alias field, either leave it blank or place an @ symbol.
To check the TXT records for a certain domain name on Windows, follow these steps: Open a command prompt by navigating to Start Type here to search cmd Open. Type nslookup -q=txt example.com and hit [enter] to get the TXT records for example.com .
Add to DNS TXT record. Log in to your DNS providers site and create a new TXT record. Paste your verification code into a new TXT record in the TXT Value field. Host field: Base Domain (e.g., example.com) Make sure the TTL is set to default or 3600. Save the record.
The A Record Lookup tool is an online tool that lets you query DNS servers to check A records and get instant results. IPv4, Address, or A record lookups are used to determine the A records associated with a domain. Looking for easier to understand results? Use the Global DNS Checker tool.
On the Domains tab, select Verify next to the new domain that you created. The Azure portal generates a value for a TXT record. Add that record to your domains registrar or DNS hosting provider with the provided value. It might take up to 24-48 hours for a new DNS record to propagate on the Internet.
After the domain is verified, its necessary to keep the DNS txt record because its periodically checked to confirm everything is set up correctly and for the domain to keep verified. For more information, please check the documentation below: Verify a domain to manage accounts.
If you have multiple domains to verify, you will need to add a text record for each domain. Step 1: Log in to your DNS Management Interface. Step 2: Find the DNS Records Section. Step 3: Add a New TXT Record. Step 4: Save or Publish Changes. Step 5: Verify the TXT Record.
Create a new TXT record on the registrars web site. Look for a field labeled Name, Host, or Alias. Enter @. Paste the verification code you copied into the field labeled Value, Answer, Destination, or Server. Enter 1 hour in the TTL field, or you can leave the default value.
