If youre designing and ad for a blog sidebar, 300 x 250 pixels is a standard size. Other common banner ad sizes include 468 x 60 (horizontal banner), 728 x 90 (big horizontal banner), 250 x 250 (square) and 120 x 600 (tall vertical banner). The standard banner ad for mobile is 320 x 50 (horizontal).
Banner Sizes for docHub Photoshop There are many standard banner sizes you can use in Photoshop. Go with 300 250 px for a good all-around size. With Photoshop, you can always adjust the banner size whenever you want but for starters, it works best to try out big sizes.
To save your banner in docHub Photoshop go to File Tab and click on Save. Name your file, select the desired file location, and click on Save to save your Photoshop file on the desktop.
If youve already saved your project as a PSD file, you can select File Save or press Ctrl+S (or Command+S on a Mac) to save your progress at any time. However, if youre working with another format like JPEG, we recommend using Save As to avoid overwriting your original file.
First of all, launch the docHub Photoshop app on your desktop. Step 2 Select Canvas. Now, go to File and click on the first option, i.e., New. Enter the desired width, height, and other requirements in the pop-up window to launch a canvas for your banner. Step 3 Design. Step 4 Edit and Customize.
Saving the file Select File then Save As A Save As window will open. Save the file in Photoshop format first, so you can make any changes to it in the future. Then go to layer - flatten image and repeat the process (FileSave As) and save it in the Photoshop PDF format.
Once your design is ready to go, you can export your file by going to File / Export / Export As and select 1x as your size. This will deliver your design file at full resolution, or 150 PPI for a 2x4 foot banner.
