The bgcolor attribute is used for coloring the background of the document while background attribute specifies a background image for a document.
Using Flexbox Set the body and html elements to use flexbox layout by applying display: flex and flex-direction: column. Then background container is set as a flex item with flex: 0 0 50%, which will occupy 50% of the parents height. background-image property is used to set the desired image.
Replace #yourColor with the color that you want to use. This code sets the background color of the entire web page to the specified color and removes any default margins and padding.
Set the background-size property to 100% 100% and the background image will be stretched to cover the entire element, in this case the body element.
To change the color of an entire HTML webpage, you will need to edit the tag in the HTML document. In CSS, you can set the background-color property to the desired color.
The most basic way to set a full-page background is to use the CSS background-image property. This property accepts a value that is the URL of the image you want to use as the background. This will set the body element as the container for the background image, which will cover the entire webpage.
Open your template or publication and click Page Design Background to choose one of the solid or gradient background colors.
