A data binding appears in the local DOM template as an HTML attribute: property-name = annotation-or-compound-binding attribute-name $= annotation-or-compound-binding. The left-hand side of the binding identifies the target property or attribute.
You can use the docker volume ls command to view a list of data volumes. Use the docker volume inspect command to view the data volume details.
To mount a volume to a running container in Docker Compose, you need to update the docker-compose. yml file with the desired volume configuration, then execute docker-compose up detach to recreate the container with the volume mounted.
To provide an empty data volume for one or more containers This can be achieved using a bind mount.
Volumes are independent of the containers lifecycle and can be created, managed, and shared across multiple containers. Bind mounts are tightly coupled to the host file system and do not have the same features and flexibility as Docker volumes.
Multiple containers can run with the same volume when they need access to shared data. Docker creates a local volume by default. However, we can use a volume diver to share data across multiple machines. Finally, Docker also has volumes-from to link volumes between running containers.
When we want to include or exclude properties from model binding then we need to use the Bind Attribute in ASP.NET MVC application. We are also going to work with the same example that we worked on in our previous article. As part of this article, we are going to discuss the following pointers.
With bind mounts, a file or directory on a host, such as an Amazon EC2 instance, is mounted into a container. Bind mounts are supported for tasks that are hosted on both Fargate and Amazon EC2 instances. Bind mounts are tied to the lifecycle of the container that uses them.
