I need to correct something which I said in a previous video specifically I said it in this video connecting MySQL workbench for underdog this is how the bind address should be set it should be set to the IP address of the network card on the server the network card which connects to the internet and which sends information to MySQL the daymond it should not be set to the loopback IP which has a 127 in it and it should not be set to 0 0 0 0 the usefulness of setting it to all zeros is if you have several network cards on the server machine and you dont want to have to specify which one of the network cards MySQL should be listening to so this is how it gets set and it should never be set to the IP address of some other host or some other machine it should just be the IP addresses or address of the network card on the server machine
