How to Automator edit PDF metadata

4.8 out of 5
68 votes

PDFs contain metadata such as file names and modification history. You can modify metadata in apps like DocHub Pro, but there is a free option using Sedja's PDF editor. Upload your file, edit or fill out fields like creation date, and add new fields by typing in labels and values. For example, add an artist field by typing "artist" under Name and the artist's name under Value. This process allows you to customize PDF metadata without paying for a premium service.
