PDF metadata consists of information about the PDF document, which includes title of the PDF document, author, subject, keywords and copyright information. This information falls under searchable fields of a PDF document, which means that they can be accessed by search utilities.
Choose File Properties. Click the Description tab, and type the authors name, subject, and keywords. (Optional) Click Additional Metadata to add other descriptive information, such as copyright information.
To add more leader lines, just repeat the process described below. Right-click anywhere inside the text box and select Add Leader. The leader line will automatically anchor to the text box at the nearest applicable control point. Click the spot on the PDF where you want the leader lines terminus to be.
First, right-click anywhere in the PDF and select Document Properties. Then check the details on the Description tab. In this example, the full title was listed (1), along with the correct authoring body at the time the document was created (2), and the date it was created (3).
Click File, and then look for Author under Related People on the right. Right-click the author name, and then click Edit Property. Type a new name in the Edit person dialog box.
Right-click (Windows) or control-click (Mac OS) the comment or edit and select Properties. c. Under General delete the author name. Type in Reviewer or Anonymous or leave the author field blank.
How to clear a signature from a PDF. Provided the document isnt locked, you can then remove your own signature from the PDF by simply right-clicking the signature and choosing the Clear Signature option. This should remove the signature, allowing you to edit or re-sign the PDF.
How to Remove Metadata from a PDF Using docHub Run docHub as an Administrator. When the program loads, go to File and select Properties. A window will appear. This will display the PDFs metadata. Choose to remove it, and then click OK.
Prior to making comments/annotations Open Preferences and go to the Comments panel. In the Author field change this setting to any other name or Anonymous Close the preferences and begin working on the document. docHub will use this setting for the Author in any annotations created going forward.
