Navigate to Info Click on Properties Double click on Advanced Properties. You should see a properties dialog box appear. You can then proceed to amend the document metadata such as the Title, author, etc.
How to get and change PDF metadata from command line To view all of the metadata for a PDF file, use the exiftool command and specify the name of your PDF document. To get a specific piece of metadata, such as the author, specify the option in your command: $ exiftool -Author document.pdf Author : Canonical.
View document metadata Choose the hamburger menu Document Properties (Windows), or File Document Properties (macOS). Select the Additional Metadata button in the Description tab. Select Advanced to display all the metadata embedded in the document.
An author name can be changed in the Tools Settings menu on the Comments tab. A stamp name is left unchanged as for default stamps. Master PDF Editor also enables you to create custom stamps which differ from the default stamps and have a custom title.
We can use the pdfinfo command to print the contents of the document information dictionary of a PDF document. Besides the contents of the dictionary, it also prints other useful information such as page count, page size, PDF version.
To check, open your PDF document in docHub. Choose File; then Document Properties. You should see information that indicates the Author of the document.
Choose the hamburger menu Document Properties (Windows), or File Document Properties (macOS). Select the Description tab, and type the authors name, subject, and keywords. (Optional) Select Additional Metadata to add other descriptive information, such as copyright information.
Open the PDF document in docHub Pro: Select File Properties. Select the Description tab to view the metadata in the document, including the document information dictionary. Modify the Title field to add or change the documents Title entry.
