One of the methods to achieve Conditional formatting based on a custom formula is using the IF statement. The IF function works on the IF/THEN/ELSE condition syntax.
Each cell has several conditional formatting rules. The order is critical since the format stops at the first rule thats true. For example is less than 0, red, if cell A B, bold, etc. When copy/paste the group of cells with condformat, the rule order changes and therefore the result changes.
