In today's tutorial, we will focus on the process of annotation. I previously asked you to annotate the short story of your choice, but I will clarify the concept. In 2011, I created a study skills guide, which I'll share with you—specifically, page 11 contains instructions for annotation. I recommend a two-step process: first, read through the text at your normal speed while making marks. Use a pen for this. The suggested marks include circling unfamiliar words, using brackets around important terms or phrases, and underlining significant sentences or paragraphs, along with three other symbols to enhance your annotations.
