Calculated fields allow you to create new data from data that already exists in your data source. When you create a calculated field, you are essentially creating a new field (or column) in your data source, the values or members of which are determined by a calculation that you control.
The first step is to go to the Analysis tab and select the Create Calculated Field option, as shown below. The next step is to name the calculated field ISDATE False E.g . The IF Statement Tableau returns the result (i.e. TRUE) only if the given condition is met, but if the condition is not met (i.e. FALSE) then it returns a NULL value. This is also referred to as conditional expression or Boolean expression as the result would be in the form of TRUE or FALSE.
