Update a meeting Double-click the meeting on your calendar to open it. Change the location, start and end times, attendees, message, or other options. On the Organizer Meeting or Meeting tab, click Send Update.
A meeting can be changed by the following people: The person who hosts the meeting. This can be more than one person, but if no settings were altered, it will be the person who sent out the invite (organizer). Someone who manages the mailbox of someone else where the invite was sent from.
Note:In Calendar, you can drag the meeting to a different date, select Save changes and send update and click OK. This will bring up the meeting window which allows you to then add a message, make any other necessary changes, and then click Send Update to finalize changes.
Only the meeting organizerthe person who sends a meeting requestcan send a meeting update or a cancellation: .
Firstly, please note that only the meeting organizer can make changes/edit a scheduled meeting. On the organizers calendar, select/click on your series meeting in Teams Calendar, select Edit. You will then get two options: 1.
Editing a meeting on someone elses behalf As a delegate, you can also edit or cancel meetings on behalf of the calendar owner. To do so, open the calendar event, make the changes, and select the option to send the updated or canceled meeting invitation.
Update a meeting Double-click the meeting on your calendar to open it. Change the location, start and end times, attendees, message, or other options. On the Organizer Meeting or Meeting tab, click Send Update.
Click on Calendar in the left navigation bar. Select the Upcoming tab. Click the drop-down menu next to the dates, if you do not see the occurrence of the meeting you want to update, change the dates to include the specific meeting you want to edit. Click on the title of the meeting you would like to edit.
