hi everyone anthony morgante here you probably know that a while ago docHub added a sky replacement tool to photoshop at that time they added another tool that got little mention that is a sky selection tool if you have an image that has a nice sky in it you donamp;#39;t want to replace it but you need to process that sky and you donamp;#39;t want to process anything else in the image thatamp;#39;s where the sky selection tool really comes in handy and in this video iamp;#39;m going to demonstrate how to use it i mentioned you may have an image you donamp;#39;t need to replace the sky you just need to process the existing sky thatamp;#39;s when you would use this tool now i have this image here the skyamp;#39;s a little bit washed out so i need to do some work on that sky all by itself now to start out iamp;#39;m going to duplicate the background layer by hitting command j on my mac itamp;#39;s ctrl j on a pc so weamp;#39;re going to do all our work on this lay

To make improvements: Open your picture in Photoshop. Select Filter and Blur. Pick Gaussian Blur as your next option, and use the slide to find the right range. Select OK. Find the Filter and Sharpen option. Select Unsharp. Use the slide until the image is as desired. Select OK.
Drag the Exposure slider to the right to lighten the photo or to the left to darken the photo. This affects the overall brightness of the photo. Drag the Contrast slider to the right to increase contrast or to the left to reduce contrast.
To adjust the tint, select the area from the layer you want to adjust with the Lasso or Magic Wand tools, click New Adjustment Layer from the bottom of the Layers window, choose Photo Filter, select the color tint you want to apply to the image area from the Filter drop-down menu and click OK to apply the
Adjust brightness and contrast in selected areas Do one of the following: Choose Enhance Adjust Lighting Brightness/Contrast to make adjustments directly to image pixels. Drag the sliders to adjust the brightness and contrast, then click OK.
