How do I resize an image in Photoshop by dragging? Open the image in Photoshop. Select the Transform tool by pressing Ctrl + T (Cmd + T for Mac). You can also go to Edit Free Transform. Drag one of the corners of the transform box while holding down the Shift key. Release the mouse button to apply the transformation.
To adjust midtones, use the middle Input slider to make a gamma adjustment. Moving the middle Input slider to the left makes the overall image lighter.
Adjusting image color and tone with adjustment layers In the Adjustments panel, click the tool icon for the adjustment you want to make: For tonality and color, click Levels or Curves. For adjusting color, click Color Balance or Hue/Saturation. For converting a color image to black and white, click Black White.
With the layer you want to center selected and the marquee tool active, press CTRL + A to select the whole document and then within the move tool (keyboard shortcut: V), click either the Align vertical centers or the Align horizontal centers button (highlighted below).
Holding down Shift + Alt (Windows) or Shift + Option (Mac) while clicking and dragging a handle will resize an object proportionally from its center if you click a corner handle, or will adjust opposite sides equally if you are using a side handle.
