yeah this is a short video on how to get subsurface scattering working in substance which i donamp;#39;t think i have on at the moment so iamp;#39;ve got the skin selected here the body thereamp;#39;s a few things we need to activate first of all weamp;#39;ve got to make sure weamp;#39;re using a material that allows you to see subsurface scattering and this is the first thing that we need so alpha test i believe is the one we want um i do get it confused between this and alpha blend but iamp;#39;m pretty sure alpha test is the subsurface scatter material and then weamp;#39;re going to go all the way down here and we just want to click on enable subsurface scatter so weamp;#39;re going to enable it here um i wouldnamp;#39;t play around with the scale so much um you know at the end of the day weamp;#39;re just after the maps and then we can play around with that in um in maya so one being 100 0 being no subsurface and then the gray scales being anywhere in between um okay and
