I would like to focus in on the filters that are available when youamp;#39;ve searched for a substance either by name of course or indeed by structure, and to illustrate this Iamp;#39;m first of all going to do a fragment-based search. Basically, Iamp;#39;m going to search for some organic fragments together to generate a large answer set, so first of all Iamp;#39;m going to draw a trifluoromethyl group and leave that just as it is. Iamp;#39;m also going to use the functionality right here to very quickly draw a cyclopropane ring system and then Iamp;#39;m going to add in an imidazole ring as well. So letamp;#39;s go and put those nitrogens in at that position and right there, so Iamp;#39;ve drawn three separate fragments which is completely permissible to do in CAS SciFinder-n, click on amp;quot;OKamp;quot; and now Iamp;#39;m going to run the search. When weamp;#39;ve done that of course we get zero as drawn because we have three separate fragment
