Frostpunk does not allow players to build diagonal Streets, and Streets must connect to the Generator to function. To cancel construction or remove a Street, select the red icon near Streets in the construction menu. Then, the player can click and drag over the Street they want to be removed. Constructing Streets is one of the most basic tasks players need to get acquainted with. In Frostpunk, Streets not only help Workers and Engineers navigate the city faster, but they also connect buildings to the central Generator. Structures will not function unless connected to the Generator by a Street.
