hello Iamp;#39;m Jessica an e-learning specialist and Iamp;#39;m here today to show you how to adjust your columns in Excel so you can see we have a an excel file here and thereamp;#39;s a lot of text in some of them and currently I canamp;#39;t see them so thereamp;#39;s a few ways to do it first you can just simply click between the columns and drag I can highlight a number of columns and here if I drag itamp;#39;s actually going to make them all exactly the same or if I click in the upper corner youamp;#39;ll see itamp;#39;s actually selected all of the cells and if I double click itamp;#39;s going to take all of the cells and make them all as long as the column needs to be to show you all of the information in that cell and there you have it a great way to make your columns whatever size you need it to be real quick short and easy hope this helps

The steps to use the center across selection feature in Excel are as follows: Select the Cell Range to Center the Text Across. Press Ctrl + 1 to Open the Format Cells Box. Open the Horizontal: Drop-Down Menu in the Alignment Tab. Click the Center Across Selection Option and Press the Enter Key.
Align text in a cell Select the cells that have the text you want aligned. On the Home tab choose one of the following alignment options: To vertically align text, pick Top Align , Middle Align , or Bottom Align . To horizontally align text, pick Align Text Left , Center , or Align Text Right .
To AutoFit column width, select one, several or all columns on the sheet, go to the Home tab Cells group, and click Format AutoFit Column Width. To AutoFit row height, select the row(s) of interest, go to the Home tab Cells group, and click Format AutoFit Row Height.
Click the shape or other object, and then on the Shape Format tab, under Arrange, click Align.
In the worksheet, select the cells that you want to format. On the Home tab, click the Dialog Box Launcher next to Number. In the Category box, click Number. In the Decimal places box, enter the number of decimal places that you want to display.
Go to Home Cells Format. Under Cell Size, select AutoFit Row Height. Tip: To quickly autofit all rows on the worksheet, select Select All, and then double-click the boundary below one of the row headings.
Another way to re-align cells in Excel is using the Alignment tab of the Format Cells dialog box. To get to this dialog, select the cells you want to align, and then either: Press Ctrl + 1 and switch to the Alignment tab, or. Click the Dialog Box Launcher arrow at the bottom right corner of the Alignment.
Go to Home Cells Format. Under Cell Size, select AutoFit Column Width.
