if you want to know how to configure standard access lists and the time it takes to eat a Snickers bar youamp;#39;ve come to the right place access lists in general are just a list of statements saying what is permitted and what is denied so imagine that the access list is given to this guard who is guarding the inbound interface that connects your router to the internet that guard is going to stand there and look at the list and look at the first line on there and say okay permit 10.15.1 so a packet comes in heamp;#39;s going to say is that you packetamp;#39;s going to say no Iamp;#39;m sorry itamp;#39;s not he goes okay well how about number two deny 192 is is is this one you the pack no no Iamp;#39;m actually sorry Iamp;#39;m not itamp;#39;s going to say well permit this whole network does your address start with 17230 packet says no Iamp;#39;m sorry you know it keeps going through that list on and on and on and on and if itamp;#39;s unlucky enough to docHub the very bottom

The ACL mask. The mask entry indicates the maximum permissions allowed for users (other than the owner) and for groups. The mask is a quick way to change permissions on all the users and groups.
We can set the mask entry permissions manually by using the setfacl command. This will allow us to filter any named user and/or group permissions set on the file at the same time, or for existing users ACL entries of the file, to the lowest common denominator. This is called effective permissions.
Each ACL policy can contain one or more ACL entries. Each ACL entry contains attributes that identify the user or group and the actions that this user or group can perform. The number of required attributes for an ACL entry depends on the ACL entry type.
Each ACL has one or more access control entries (ACEs) consisting of the name of a user or group of users. The user can also be a role name, such as programmer or tester. For each of these users, groups or roles, the access privileges are stated in a string of bits called an access mask.
Each scope is limited to 1000 secrets. The maximum allowed secret value size is 128 KB.
A secret scope is collection of secrets identified by a name. A workspace is limited to a maximum of 1000 secret scopes. Contact your Azure Databricks support team if you need more.
You simply combine the u, g, and o values with the corresponding r, w, x permissions that you want the mask to allow. For example, to allow read, write, and execute for the files user, read and write for the group, and read for everyone else, use umask u=rwx,g=rw,o=r.
An Access Control List (ACL) is a list of IP addresses or subnets that, in conjunction with VCL code, can be used to verify whether a specific IP address is a member of the list. Unlike edge dictionaries, ACLs support subnet matching and are therefore useful for allowing or blocking ranges of addresses.
