hello and welcome to episode 5 of mac minute this week were going to talk about the bar at the bottom right down here which you cant really see because im staying in front of which were going to fix that in this video so this bar at the bottom is very flexible what it can do and it can be have all kinds of features turned on to help to tell you what is really going on with the other programs and im going to show you some of that its one of the things that most people dont really deal with very much because they dont ever go and look at it but theres some really cool things you can do with it and actually because of the problem of me standing on this side of the computer all the time or this side of the computer to you all the time im actually going to move the bar up here so im going to start doing some things with this a little more and i want to make sure you can see what im doing so the first thing were going to do is were going to go up here to uh system preferences

If Track Changes is turned on, Word may be set to print Final Showing Markup, which can cause some funky margins in the printout. If you suspect this is the case, choose to a different printing mode (in the Print dialog box) or resolve all the outstanding changes before printing.
To restore the original margin settings, click Margins and then click Custom Margins. Change the margins for Top, Bottom, Left, and Right to 1. Then click the Default button and click Yes.
