Hi everyone, my name is Kevin, and today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to do mail merge using Word, Excel, and Outlook. So, first off, what is mail merge? Well, think of it as when the electric company sends you a bill every month. They customize your bill with your name, your address information. Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to do something similar to that. Letamp;#39;s say you want to send out envelopes. Letamp;#39;s say you want to send out a letter or maybe you want to send out an e-mail and each individual one has custom information that you want to include on there. Thatamp;#39;s what we can do with mail merge, so letamp;#39;s jump right on into. And as weamp;#39;re getting started here, just as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft. OK, so what Iamp;#39;m going to do first is Iamp;#39;m going to open up Microsoft Word. So, weamp;#39;re going to pop up Word here, and then Iamp;#39;m going to open up a new blank document. Select the mailboxes that you want to assign permissions for. Click Mailbox delegation, under Add a delegate textbox, type the Name or email address and then select it from the results. In the Select permission types dropdown, select the appropriate types (Full access, Send as or Send on behalf).
Second person: Send email on behalf of the other person Open a new email message. Above the To line, select From, then select the other persons mailbox. If necessary, select Other Email Address, then enter that email address, then select it. Finish composing the email, then select Send.
Open the Exchange Management Shell on your on-premises Exchange server. Run the command Get-RemoteMailbox -Identity username to retrieve the current settings for the user in question. Run the command Set-RemoteMailbox -Identity username -Type UsedocHubbox to change the recipient type to User Mailbox.
In the Exchange Admin Center, click Recipients in the feature pane.
Outlook Desktop App on Windows (Classic Outlook) By default, the From field will not be displayed when you compose a message. When composing a message click on the From in the drop-down box and select Other E-Mail Address. Type in the email address here that you wish to Send As and click OK.
With Send on Behalf permissions, a user may send emails that are marked as, on behalf of another user. This is not the same as Send As permissions, which allow emails to be sent as if they actually came from another user.
