If you edit the recipient name associated with your delivery address(es), you will need to re-verify your identity. This is for the security of your packages. You can provide up to three residential addresses where you receive packages.
You can edit a label immediately after creating it in FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com by selecting Edit in the labels confirmation screen.
The receiver will just have to take a valid form of identification with them. If youre the receiver, you can change the delivery address by getting in touch with the shipper, who will have to authorize the change. Bear in mind that additional restrictions and fees may apply when rerouting packages.
Yes, a third party can collect the shipment. The person collecting the shipment must provide a valid photo identity/authorization letter from the shipper at the time of collection.
If you need to change or correct a delivery address before the package is delivered, log in to your FedEx account, go to our tracking page, and follow these steps: Enter your tracking number or reference number. Select Manage Delivery, then Edit Delivery Address.
If you use FedEx Delivery Manager to request to redirect your package, youll receive a QR code. You can share that code with someone, and they can use it to pick up your package for you, as long as it doesnt require an adult signature.
From the drop-down menu, select one of the following shipment types: outbound or import. The sender details are filled in by default based on your profile. You can edit the sender details and save the new address as the default shipper address. Fill in a new address or select one from your address book.
