Edit Recipients dialog box The list of recipients Shows all the records that will be used in your mail merge. Data Source Select Edit to change individual fields, or add records. Sort Select up to three level of fields to sort in ascending or descending order.
When the enforcing protection option appears gray and cant be clicked, it isnt available. Usually the reason that it doesnt work is because another type of protection is already in place on the document. Changing the status of the document will make the option available again.
This issue can be caused due to Windows media Player settings, I would suggest you to disable and enable Windows Media Player and check if it helps. Disable Windows Media Player: a. Press the Windows + R key on the keyboard.
On the Outlook Preferences dialog box, click on the General icon (top row). Uncheck the Hide On My Computer folders check box. Close all dialog boxes and exit Outlook. Relaunch the Outlook application.
To edit an existing mail merge document: Select Letters Mail Merge Document Maintenance. The Mail Merge Document Search window is displayed. Type search criteria in the search fields and click Find. Select the document you want to edit. Click Edit. Click Edit. Select File Exit. Click Ok.
Go to Mailings Select Recipients. Select Use an existing list, choose the list you previously created and select Open. Add or edit records in the Edit List Entries dialog box.
Answer: When the email list is in the process of refreshing, the list may be locked in the message until the refresh is complete. The recipient list will appear grayed out in the message until the list has finished refreshing at which point you will be able to change the list.
