With Photoshop, you can resize an image without losing quality by using the Image Size dialog box. In the Image Size dialog box, you can change the width and height of the image. You can also change the resolution. The resolution is the number of pixels per inch.
So, go to Bridge, click on a photo to edit, and press Command-R (PC: Ctrl-R) to open the photo in Bridges Camera Raw (as shown here). Adjust the photo the way youd like. In our example, I started by taking the White Balance tool (I) and clicking on the back of this players leg to remove the blue color cast.
How to reduce JPEG file size on Windows Open the JPEG file with a double click or Right-click file Open With Photos. Click the three dots in the top right corner and select Resize. Choose the recommended settings or Define custome dimentions to resize the JPEG file manually.
To edit photographs in Bridge, you need to have docHub Camera Raw, a powerful plug-in that allows you to edit and enhance any photo, including JPGS. RAW files however, can only be opened, and read, in docHub Camera Raw.
Editing a JPEG file is as easy as editing any other raster-based image file. A designer needs to open the file in their chosen image editing program and make whatever changes they need to make. Once they are done, they can use the programs Save function to save the changed file back in the JPEG format.
