[Music] well my first video back at my spot south of quartzite its still chilly in the mornings here uh winters not quite over yet i was just oh a little ways above freezing this morning but going up to uh t-shirt and jeans weather by afternoon but its been windy windy windy windy holy cow we had two wind storms since i got here over the last week so its been kind of tough working on antennas and that is the subject of todays video an experiment i use an end fed half wave uh i built the uh the uh 49 to one uh design that steve ellington populate popularized not too long ago and ive been experimenting with an enfed half wave cut for 80 meters 160 meters as youve seen in previous videos but i usually set up my end fed uh fed at the ground level sloping up so ill have the feed point down right next to the ground ill slope it up to the mast and then maybe either drape it across to something or run across to another mast like an l an inverted l and it works fine um it works actual
