Heres how to apply Paragraph Borders and Shading: Open a document in Google Docs. Select the paragraph you want to change. Click Format, Paragraph styles and then Borders and shading. In the window that opens, change how you want your paragraph to look. To remove paragraph borders or shading, click Reset.
Choose the View menu. Choose Outlines in the Views section of the View ribbon. Select the level (heading) you which to collapse under and click the - button in the Outline Tools section of the Outline ribbon.
