Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) is a presentation architecture and family of associated printer software and hardware that provides for document and information presentation independent of specific applications and devices.
AFP Format (AFP/PTOCA/MODCA/IM1) AFP (Advanced Function Presentation) format is part of IBMs document imaging system. It is a raster format, created to add enhanced formatting and indexing capabilities to documents for print applications in finance, retail, insurance and other industries.
Whats the difference between AFP and PDF? While PDF has its origins in the graphic arts and ubiquitous desktop viewing, the emphasis for AFP is very high speed variable data printing.
Advanced Function Presentation data stream (AFPDS) is a printer-independent data stream that composes full pages within a document. Many of the page elements you can use with AFP are special objects called resources.
Click on the added file in your document list to open it in editing mode. Use the toolbar above the document sheet to add all the edits. Finish your editing by keeping the file in your documents, downloading it on your computer, or sending it via DocHub without switching tabs.
