You can see the cursor blinking in that. Lets say we want to setup specific margins. First to actually see what the margins are set to you want to go to the Sidebar here. Go to Document. Then in the document area of the Sidebar you can find Document Margins. You can see here they are set to one inch all the way around, top, bottom, left, right. Now if you actually want to see the margins on the page we can. We can actually do that one of two ways. The first way is to go to View and lets Show Ruler. This will show the ruler here at the top of the page. Im going to zoom out a little bit to 75%

How do I change the Margins in docs?

One way to change the margins is to go to the Page Setup dialog box. Click File and select Page Setup. Now you can change each margin by clicking a box and typing a new measurement. Click OK when youre done. The default margins are set to one inch on each side.

Can you change the Margins on just one page of a Word document?

On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Margins tab. Under Margins, select the options you want. To change the default margins, click Default after you select new margin settings. The new default settings are saved in the template on which the document is based.
