if you have a low resolution logo donamp;#39;t trace it with a pen tool in Photoshop to remove the background instead go into the preferences panel and click on technology preview then enable the content aware tracing tool restart Photoshop now click on the three dot icon or the banana icon if you have it enabled and choose the content aware tracing tool from the options bar choose shape and click on this first icon then hover over any shape in your logo if the preview outline covers the entire shape click on it to create a vector shape then hover over another piece if the outline does not cover the shape click then go into the options bar and enable the add button and come back and click around the shape until you complete the path to change the color click on the shape thumbnail and choose any color you like for the next shape click on the first icon in the options bar and repeat the same process and to have a vector logo with no background and straight smooth edges
