hey Im rich salmon Im here in Toledo Ohio and Wescott today Im going to show you a really cool lighting technique using just one light you know theres an expression when you think you need to lights use one light when you think you need three lights use one light because you can get so many cool effects using just one light now I have my Canada speed light in this Westcott polish softbox its a medium sized softbox but heres a really cool thing this saltbox has a recessed panel now with the recessed panel you can really mold the light you can direct the light you can get really dramatic lighting some soft boxes dont have the recessed panel you get flat a lighting you get even flat aligning if you use an umbrella but again I want really dramatic lighting here so I have the speed light here pointed toward the back I have it zoom now all the way so I get this nice soft light and a tip about that the larger the light the softer the light the closer the light the softer the light oka
