Alternatively, please download and fill out the BC Pet Registry Transfer form. Both the previous owner and new owner must fill and sign this form in order for a transfer to be completed. Completed forms must be scanned and sent to: info@bcpetregistry.ca.
Pet licenses are issued by the city or county where you live. You can pick up a transfer form at animal shelters, or from many veterinarians. You may also be able to download a copy of the form online. The form requires information about you and the new owner, as well as basic information about the pet.
You can transfer the ownership of a dog or cat from one person to another at the Animal Services Pet Adoption and Protection Center. A completed Transfer of Ownership form is required if a dog or cat is being transferred to another county in Florida.
Establish your ownership rights through the following: Registration. Registration is not always mandatory. Veterinary records. Microchipping. Tags. A recent photo of your pet. Adoption or purchase records. Consider a pet agreement form.
If you are the new keeper of a pet, you can transfer the microchip into your details. You will need the pets microchip number and exact date of birth to transfer the registration online. If you dont know the date of birth, you can ask the previous keeper to start the transfer from within their account.
How to transfer Select the Transfer online button. Log in to your NSW Pet Registry account. Select My Pets to see a list of the pets you own, then select the Transfer text for the relevant pet. Enter the details of the new owner, then select Transfer again.
