Another trick is to change the plot to box aspect ratio. This way you will decrease to 80% the size of the legend box. The thing is that you might need to change the font size as well to make it fit within the box. To do so, you can just add Fontsize, sizenumber within the legend command.
You can use two values top and left along with the position property to move an HTML element anywhere in the HTML document. Move Left - Use a negative value for left. Move Right - Use a positive value for left. Move Up - Use a negative value for top. Move Down - Use a positive value for top.
How to Align Legend tag to the center of the screen? To align the legend tag to the center of the screen, we can use the CSS margin-left property and the legend tag center align property to align the tag element to the center. Following are examples of aligning legend tag to the center of the screen.
The following CSS rules are used to style the legend elements: fieldset {position:relative} /* For legend positioning */ #el01 legend {padding:0} /* Remove padding */ #el02 legend { /* Text and background colour, blue on light gray */ color:#00f; background-color:#ddd; } #el03 legend {background:url(/i/icon-info.
Just add the text-align and margin to you fieldset. This will produce the same results as your code without the tag.
HTML | align Attribute left: It sets the caption to the left of element. By default, it is aligned to left. right: It sets the caption to the right of element. top: It sets the caption to the top of element. bottom: It sets the caption to the bottom of element.
The left and right alignment of element are supported by major browsers except Opera 12 and earlier versions. The bottom alignment are not supported by any browsers. We can use CSS to align tag element to center. The CSS margin-left property will play the vital role here to center the legend element.
