are your fans being too loud is your keyboard backlight not coming on having issues with your power or is your Mac just being too slow and SMC reset may be the solution this is how you perform an SMC reset on your MacBook with it plugged in and turned off with your left hand hold shift control option with your right hand hold the power button hold it for 10 seconds and then once you let go you will notice the light on the charger will turn green that is an indicator that the SMC has been reset

If theres no picture on your Mac after you change the resolution Wait 15 seconds to see if your Mac resets the display resolution on its own. If the display resolution doesnt reset on its own, press Esc (Escape) to revert your display to the previously selected resolution.
Complete Full Calibration On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar. Click the display that you want to recalibrate on the right, click the Preset pop-up menu, then click Calibrate Display. After the Pro Display Calibrator opens, click Full Calibration, then click Calibrate.

The first step in troubleshooting distorted colors on your Mac screen is to check the display settings. Go to System Preferences Displays and make sure that the resolution and color profile are set correctly for your specific monitor.
