today is November 9th this is our first cold day we have about 41 degrees this morning just a beautiful blue sky absolutely gorgeous this comes in after probably about two days of rain and its gonna help these fields dry out now these plants kick into high gear start making some more foliage Im up today to get the tent set up my dad he is 87 years old hes coming in Im flying up to Pennsylvania to pick him up and drive him down here then were gonna hunt down here for a couple weeks hmm kind of made this area here for him set a shooting table up here on the edge of the field got a little bit of vine cover put the tent over top of that youve got a good look at the whole field here from this my permanent stand is right there thats about a its about a hundred thirty yards across this field was a pretty long shot he missed a deer last year he was pretty upset not having shot that rifle a long time Im hoping this year hell do better were gonna go to the range as soon as he gets in
