Change the check box symbol In the Content Control Properties dialog box, selectChange next to Checked symbol. In the Symbol box, look for a symbol. Try selecting a different font in the Font list, such as a Segoe UI Symbol font. Select the symbol you want, and select OK.
Position the cursor where you want to insert the check mark symbol. Press Alt + 0252 or Alt + 0254 on the numeric keypad.
Click on the arrow on the right side of the Bullets button. From the next window, select the None option in the Bullet Library section. With the check box removed, you can proceed to work on the document with the settings that were in place before you undertook the editing process.
Changing the check box Click the Developer tab. In the Controls group, click Design mode. Select the one for Mary and then click Properties in the Controls group. In the Check Box Properties section (at the bottom) click Change to the right of the Checked Symbol option. Choose Wingdings from the Font dropdown.

In the Character code box at the bottom, enter: 252. Select the check mark you want. Once the check mark has been inserted, you may change its size or color.
Change the check box symbol In the Content Control Properties dialog box, selectChange next to Checked symbol. In the Symbol box, look for a symbol. Try selecting a different font in the Font list, such as a Segoe UI Symbol font. Select the symbol you want, and select OK.
Go to Insert Symbol. Select More Symbols. Scroll up or down to find the checkmark you want to insert.
To check or uncheck the box, select the box and then click Options in the Developer tab. In the pop-up window that appears, select Checked under default value to check it and Not Checked to uncheck it.
