So Mac Numbers makes it really easy to create simple charts and graphs using the values in your tables. The first thing you want to do is you want to make sure that your data is in order. Here I created a simple table. Its just a sales chart. Ive got in each row a different product. I have a Header column here with the product name. Then each column is a different store. So an East store and a West store and then a value. So the number of oranges sold in the East store is 40. So note Ive got labels in the Headers here. Click the arrows in the headers to add or remove columns and rows. Use the buttons on the top right to swap the series between columns and rows.
Modify chart data in Pages on iPad Tap the chart, then tap Edit Data. Do any of the following: Add a data series: Tap cells, then enter the data for your new data series. Remove a data series: Tap the bar for the row or column you want to delete, then tap Delete. Tap Done to return to the chart.
Creating a bar chart in Pages Open a new Pages document. Select the Insert button (Plus symbol). Select Charts button in the popup menu. Select 2D Chart. Swipe left or right to view possible chart colors and select your desired chart. The chart template appears. Select the Edit Data button in the popup row.
