You can customize the Invert if Negative option in a chart but youve just got to know where to look. So here weve got a chart, youll see weve got some positive numbers and theres a negative number. So we want this negative number to change to a different color. Im just going to right click on it and say format data series and if I come here, go to the fill options youll see Ive got a Invert if Negative and I click on it so it turns white but I dont seem to have an option here to turn it, lets say I want to turn it red. Now at the moment theres nowhere to do it. The problem is actually here, the automatic, so if I rather go and I say I actually want a solid fill, notice that whats happened here is Ive now got 2 color options and this here is the inverted fill color so I can now go and Ill say that one is red and youll see now any number that goes negative will turn red.
