How to get rid of card limit on Anki?

If you set the limit to 9999 for each deck (new cards/reviews) there will be no practical limits. If the number of reviews is small despite these limits: No card is due then. If you want to give up the benefits of srs, use filtered decks, or set up a high retention rate if you have the FSRS algorithm.

Why does my Anki only show 20 cards?

By default, Anki will show you a maximum of 20 new cards each day. The reason for this limit is because those cards will need to be reviewed in the coming days - such as the next day, and then a few days after, and so on.

Why are there only 20 cards in my Anki deck?

When you have it set at 20, what Anki will do is limit yourself to only see 20 cards every day when, in reality, you might have made like 30 or 40 cards, and it will just not let you review more cards than that. You also want to make sure that youre doing all the cards that you need to do for that particular day.

How to increase the number of cards in Anki?
