A request is made up of several parts: the URL; the HTTP method; any headers; and the body.
An HTTP response has both a header and a body. The header info tells the browser about the protocol being used, whether the request was successful, and what kind of content is included in the body. The body contains the contents (for example, HTML) for the browser to display.
For Chrome Go to Requestly Rule Selector, and select Modify Headers option. Enter the Request URL for which you want to modify the HTTP request headers. You can also leave this empty; it will apply the modification to all the URLs in your browser. Add Request or Response headers you want to modify.
In HTTP, the request body is part of the request message carrying data from the client to the server. Its crucial for methods like POST, PUT, and PATCH, used to create, update, or modify resources. For example, in a POST request to create a user account, user details are in the request body.
Content is a HttpContent . Content can have extra information like headers to describe the Body. You can read the data (of the body) from the Content as a Stream (as you have shown). HTTP headers let the client and the server pass additional information with an HTTP request or response.
Go to HTTP Rules, and create a Modify Request body rule. Specify the URL condition as URL contains /GetTopDestinations. In the Request Body section, select the Static option to provide the exact request body to send. We may also use the Programmatic (JavaScript) option to modify the request body using JavaScript code.
Request bodies can be structured in a variety of ways, depending on the specific API and the type of data being sent. These are three common types: Raw. This can technically hold any kind of string, but generally includes XML or JSON, e.g. {firstName:Pied,lastName:Piper}
heres how to do it in Chrome: open DevTools, tab Network. clear. create your request normally. right click that request and select Copy Copy as fetch. go to Console tab and paste. tamper the data and hit Enter.
