To revise an invoice and notify your customer, complete the following steps: Go to the Invoice details page and click Edit invoice. In the editor, update the field you want to revise. Click Review invoice, and decide whether you want to notify the customer by email.
How do I edit the invoice template Go to the Gear icon and then select Custom form styles. Choose the template youd like to customise, then click Edit. You can also click on New Style, then choose Invoice. On the Edit invoices that turn heads and open wallets, click either the Design or Content tabs.
Every freelance editor invoice should include the following features: Name and contact information (e.g. phone number, address, etc.) Name and contact information for company or individual contracting the work. Description of service rendered. Hours worked. Date. Total amount due. Payment terms.
To set a new template: Once you have found a template you like, click Use this template. Scroll down to Template Settings. Different templates will have different available built-in fields, such as payment terms or notes to customers. Fill in the fields, then click Save Template Settings.
From the Online Dashboard, go to Settings Document Templates and find the template youd like to modify. (For more information about choosing a template, go to Selecting new invoice or quote templates.)
Navigate to the Work tab at the top of the screen and select Invoicing from the drop-down menu. Select the relevant invoice from the list. Before you can change the theme of an invoice, the invoice must be in draft status. Change the theme.
Edit the invoice number by clicking Invoice Options Edit. Change the invoice number and click Save.
To list your services on the invoice, you should: List the service with a brief description of the work completed. List the hours worked, or the quantity provided beside each service. List the rate of pay for each service provided. Finally, list the subtotal for each of the services listed.
