so Ill be showing you how to turn off notification badges for messages on your iPhone now the messages app on the iPhone when it has badges it looks like this with this you can see I currently have 904 unread messages and thats what the badge is so if you want to hide that badge what you need to do is go into settings on the main settings page of your iPhone scroll down to messages tap on that and then go to Notifications tap on that and then look for badges you can see its currently enabled and thats why you can see it badges now if you turn that off and check you can see the badge has disappeared although the badges for other apps are still there only for messages because weve turned off notification badges for messages if you turn it back on then its going to appear and thats basically how to turn notification badges on and off for messages on your iPhone now Im using the iPhone 14 but its the same instructions for pretty much any other iPhone thanks for watching leave your
