OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, that is companies that make PCs like Dell or Lenovo. OEM licenses are typically preinstalled on a computer and cant be transferred to another PC. If you have an OEM license and youve recently replaced a major part of your PC, like a motherboard, your PC might not automatically reactivate. You might need to reenter your product key. You can find the product key for OEM licenses with the packaging your PC came in, or on the Certificate of Authenticity attached to the PC if you cant find your product key and your PC is under warranty, contact your OEM for help. If your PC is no longer under warranty, or if your OEM is not able to assist, youll need to purchase a new retail license of Windows. What happens to OneDrive files when account license is removed?

What happens to a users data when you remove their license? When a license is removed from a user, Exchange Online data that is associated with that account is held for 30 days. After the 30-day grace period, the data is deleted and cant be recovered.

How long does OneDrive data stay after removing license?

If you remove a users license but dont delete the account, you retain access to the content in the users OneDrive site. If you delete their account you have 30 days to access a former users OneDrive data. If you dont restore a user account within 30 days their OneDrive content is deleted.
